BREAKING: Death & Co. Dead & Gone?

Less than 24-hours after their run-in with the community board, and a mere three months after their glorious debut, it appears that Death & Co. is done—at the very least until March 5th. From a reader on the ground: "We stopped by Death & Company last night and were greeted by a hand-written sign stating they were closed for 'Spring Cleaning' and would reopen on Monday (3/5). So we went to The Bourgeois Pig instead, and the gentleman there said D&C's closing was due to an administrative issue with their SLA license but had nothing to do with their CB3 problems. He assured us the closing was temporary."

That was a quick one, no? We feel for the good people of Death & Co., but it may be time to call a spade a spade. Closing for an early 'spring cleaning' is fine by us, but under the circumstances seems dicey. Plus, we all know what happens when the community board turns on you. Death & Co., let's hope this isn't it: we hardly knew ye.
