Eater Inside/Dish/Plywood Report: American Diner (Special Mash-up)

[Kalina, 1/30/07.]

This is the two days old American Diner, which we've caught in the very unique state of combined Post-Plywood (below), Dish, and, courtesy of Kalina, Inside-d. Located on Mulberry between Price and Spring in NoLita, the owner of this fine establishment is Luigi Comandatore of Bread & Bread Tribeca fame. The concept is as advertised and, though it's BYO for the time being, as our man Tigertt put it, "it’s open and feeding hipsters as we speak." And Kalina adds, "This place is going to make a killing."
