Plywood Report: Work at Bistro Benoit Finally Underway

New, 6 comments

Midtown West: Today, finally, the plywood is going up at the future home of Alain Ducasse's Bistro Benoit (above), one of two restaurants that Ducasse USA has in the works (the other being Adour at the St. Regis). We'll skip over the part where we express disbelief at how long it takes Ducasse to get things done (both venues have been on the books for many months), and go something more positive, the ground-level color on the above photo: "See attached. Men outside cote basque said it will reopen soon. Will it???" The word of note there being, "soon." Tag developing, svp. [PLYWOOD]
