Just a line break or two away, we've got three food-type tasting events and giveaways coming up over the next few days for your comp-loving pleasure.
1) TODAY: Via a tipster, we're hearing of an impromptu prosciutto and cheese tasting this afternoon at Italian Wine Merchants, the Flatiron wine store, co-owned by Mario Batali, Joe Bastianich and Sergio Esposito. Hours are 2-7 PM 4-7 PM, we're told, and wine will be poured. Everyone is welcome, says our man with the intel. [EaterWire Inbox]
