[The Central Village's new DessertTruck revealed, last night on its maiden voyage.]

WEST VILLAGE—We'd run this all caps, if we could. From the PR folks: "Centro Vinoteca starts serving brunch this Saturday, Nov. 3. Brunch will be served 12-4pm Saturday and Sunday. Menu highlights: farro granola, poached eggs over potato-prosciutto-fontina cake, carbonara frittata, eggs & fennel sausage sandwich, fried eggs over polenta and broccoli rabe with spicy tomato sauce." MURRAY HILL—Following up on yesterday's Wire intel about the new 2nd Ave. Deli, NY1 weighs in with some new details today: "The finishing touches for the new kitchen are underway. The tables are ready to be set, and the soda fountain is ready to go, with Bosco on tap." Also, do note that opening won't be next week, but will happen sometime in November. REALITYWORLD—The fine folks at The Food Network drop a line to let us know that episodes of The Next Iron Chef can be viewed online starting each Monday morning for the previous night's show. As you were. [FoodNetwork.com]

UPPER EAST SIDE—A reader emails along some fresh intel on the space that used to be DTUT: "I spoke to the new owners of Cafe Notte. They were pretty tight lipped about their plans but they did emphasize that it will have a DTUT like feel with more emphasis on wine. Probably because the land lord doubled the rent." UPPER EAST SIDE—From a press release: "Now that construction crews have started work on the Second Avenue subway line after decades of delays, the retail businesses and restaurants along the stretch of Second Avenue must find new locations. Some are more prepared than others. Baraonda, the long running clubby Upper East Side Italian restaurant and late night boite, will debut its new location and debut its new chef on the very day it closes its old space on Second Avenue; not even skipping a day of business." Baraonda's new location will be 1640 Second Avenue. Which day will the Momofuku-like move go down? Developing. [EaterWire Inbox]
