MIDTOWN EAST—Via official sources, we're told that the historic Grand Central Oyster Bar (above) will be closed for lunch and dinner today due to a 'minor explosion early this morning in a kitchen area.' The Oyster Bar is slated to reopen for business tomorrow: “After assessing the damage, we will make the necessary adjustments and be fully operational tomorrow,” per GM Mike Garvey. “The Oyster Bar family is thankful that there wasn’t significant damage."
