Tomorrow, Frank Bruni reviews Moim, a fancy mom-and-pop Korean restaurant in Park Slope. Yes, Moim. M-o-i-m. Today, the Eater oddsmakers have set the action as follows:
Zero Stars: 8-1When the Bruni leaves Manhattan, Luger aside, it is almost always to put a little-known restaurant on the map. So, Moim, in Park Slope, run by a husband and wife team, with, attention Keith McNally, the latter being the chef, has all the markings of a restaurant poised to get an extremely enthusiastic one-star review. To two star it would really be quite something, if only because it's rare for a restaurant of that caliber to have flown so low under the radar to date (it's been open for several months). So let's not spend more time here than we have to: Take the two stars if you're looking for fireworks or bust, but we're rolling on one.
One Star: 3-1 ??
Two Stars: 6-1
Three Stars: 50-1
Four Stars: 25,000-1
· Moim [NYT; after 8:00 PM]
