Degustation may be still be all the rage among chefs, but at this moment there are two seats available tonight at 7:30 PM. Folks, there are 16 seats in this restaurant, it has two stars from the Times and same day tables at a reasonable hour are available. Here's now this is going to go down. Phase 1, Wesley Genovart, the excellent chef running the place, is going to leave. Phase 2, a replacement is going to be named. Phase 3, Jack Lamb, owner of the restaurant, is going to turn it into a stripped down Jack's Luxury Oyster Bar, the last remaining concept of his that can be adapted for an all-counter setup.
