Ted Zagat Resigns Post of Zagat Survey Prez

Zagat Survey announced internally today that Ted Zagat, son of Tim and Nina Zagat and President of Zagat, has resigned his post at the company. He will leave sometime in 2007, on a time line to be determined. A Zagat spokesperson confirmed the news and assured Eater that the departure was amicable and the decision to leave was Ted's alone. "He's worked for Zagat Survey for seven years officially and a lifetime unofficially and he's decided to try new things."

Tim and Nina continue to run the show in most every regard, as they have done for 27 years; and, sorry folks, Zagat will not be filling Ted's position any time soon. [EaterWire]
