Eater Video Exclusive: Live at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone

Last night, the crack Eater Field Team headed to the belly of the beast: the opening of the Hawaiian Tropic Zone in Times Square. By the time we arrived at 9:30pm, though, the guest list was of no use. The place was teeming with fire marshalls and cops, and the crew at the door told us the party had been shut down.

In the above Field Team Video, a look at the shitshow from outside; keep your eyes peeled for the fire marshall, the security guard frantically wiping bubbles off himself, and the bikini-clad models hastily retreating from their sandy beach on Seventh Avenue. Then, coming up later this afternoon, we'll have another Field Team Video, this one an interview with someone, uh, lucky enough to have gotten inside.
