Zero Stars: 6-1There's a very good meal to be had at Chinatown, but thanks to a serious hype campaign one has to wade through massive crowds, spotty service and a still-learning kitchen to get it. (Plus, on certain nights, there is the absurdity of being quoted a wait time of 2 hours to deal with.) None of these obstacles will the Bruni take kindly to, especially because his expectations will be high going in. However, Joe Ng's dim sum is indisputably superior and bright spots such as the Peking Duck will likely secure at least one star for John McDonald's Chinese Balthazar. Eater is taking the one star action.
