Wire: LeDraoulec Steps Down, Tasting Room, Noodle Bar Woes

· Word is in that food writer and critic Pascale LeDraoulec has stepped down from her post at the Daily News. As she put it she is coming 'out of the restaurant critc shadows' to focus on food and restaurant features. No word as yet on who will be replacing her. [EaterWire]

· A late breaking edition to the Dish: "Is opening their restaurant, in bar-only form, tomorrow night. Don’t know if it’s F&F but I think it’s public. Call and check before you go, though. They’re nice people, and they told me because we’re neighbors...." This is, as you will recall, Tasting Room's relocation to the very short-lived Plate NYC/Soho Cantina East location. · This isn't going to bode well for Noodle Bar. The short story: "Mr.Quentin Dante & West Orient Consulting, LLC are no longer associated with Noodle Bar, as owners, officers, managers, employees, consultants, partners, shareholders, authorized representatives, debtors, creditors, and/or guarantors and will not be liable for any known debts, contractual obligations, creditor claims including claims for fines and penalties of Noodle Bar, LLC as of May 15 2006."
