BruniBetting: Craftsteak

Tomorrow, His Frankness will feast on Craftsteak. Today, the Eater oddsmakers have set the action as follows:

Zero Stars (Good): 20-1
One Star: 3-1
Two Stars: 8-1
Three Stars:5-1
Four Stars: 10,000-1
This is, indeed, an interesting odds profile. What we have here is the confluence of unique forces. First is Bruni's recent rash of two star reviews. At a point, one imagines it has to end. If a five of six was a long shot, then six of seven is a longer shot. Thus, the oddsmakers have no choice but to inflate the odds on two stars. That being said, this is going to be a love or hate review for our man at the NYT. Platt more or less hated on it, but he does have a certain distaste for restaurants that remind him of Vegas (ahem). It is possible that Bruni will love it has much as Platt hated, especially because the former gent does have a thing for big name chefs. So, while it would be entirely prudent to take the one star action, we'll roll the dice on the high end and say it's going to be three stars.
