______

Hi,

I just want to vent to you here.

I had a birthday party booked in the cabanas at Pre-Post for last Monday night. A month before I had gone to see the space, met with the manager (or was it even the owner), saw him write down my reservation in the book, etc. They were extremely helpful and I was looking forward to the experience.

However, last Monday morning I called to confirm the details when I was told they were not open on Mondays- AND that they have NEVER been open on Mondays. Funny, I had gone to see the space on a Monday. I mentioned that their website said they were open to which I got no comment (I noticed they have since changed it). The surly woman I spoke to on the phone (who I later learned was the manager) offered no explanation as to why no one called me to cancel the reservation when they decided to no longer be open on Mondays. She just kept repeating "we're not open on Mondays".

Thankfully after frantically making calls Extra Virgin was able to accomodate us and the service and food there was better than we could've even hoped (Extra Virgin ROCKS!).

I guess all this said I would just like you to alert your readers that if they should avoid making plans at Pre:Post as obviously the management can change their hours at any time and yank the red carpet out from under their guests.
