2) Meatpacking: A tipster sends along word: "The Bar with No Name (next door to Paradou on Little West 12th St.) is closed, with some serious Black and Decker work going on inside. Hear that it's going to be reborn as a restaurant from the Barolo folks." [SHUTTER/PLYWOOD]
3) Nolita: A recent stroll past the former digs of Plate NYC reminded us that it's soon to become the new home of current East 1st Street restaurant The Tasting Room. Paper's up on the windows but not so high that we couldn't steal a peek at the front bar area now under construction (above left).
