StarChefs Salary Survey: The Truth is In

Without impugning the absolute fascination to be experienced by a full read of the 2005 Salary Survey results, we present a quick summary of the most important things to be learned about restaurant employeees (and their money).

1) "Executive Chefs make more money than most other positions in the industry." Captain, meet Obvious.

2) For those in search of a new career/new home, being a pastry chef in Vegas is lucrative ($69,999). Being a pastry chef in Florida is not ($44,900).

3) Only 16.3% of Waitstaff/Servers have health insurance. Ah, America.
