Opening today in Chelsea, this is Swich, John Gargiulo's new take on pressed sandwiches. Design is by The Apartment, with a menu by John. The venue could have opened sooner, John tells us, but given how others have faired when they've jumped the gun, it seemed a little more time to prep was the prudent course. Hours at the outset are 11:30 to 11 PM and in the future will expand to 2 AM on weekends.
The venue is clearly a prototype for a national chain, so we will enjoy watching the story unfold. Further reading here.
