Behold, the first images of the brgr burger, a "one-third pound natural Angus, sourced from boutique beefery Montana Legend, seasoned with house-blend spice mix and griddled or charbroiled to temperature," per the Robs; and "expensive," by Homesick Texan standards. Though we'll note it's a little early for a full-on hammer drop, she adds, "I stopped by Brgr on 7th Avenue this evening. I ordered a medium-rare cheeseburger and it came out way overdone. Small 100% [sic] Angus beef patty was overwhelmed by veggies. A snack not a meal." Chris Russell (Moomba, TanDa, Sage) is the chief burger architect here, using a patty crafted by Burger Maker. Sans liquor license, the venue is now open at 287 Seventh Avenue. [Homesick Texan/flickr]
