After Tuesday Night's opening gala at Gordon Ramsay at the London came and went sans scandale, we were starting to fear for our esteemed Eater tipsters. Surely someone had some dirt from inside King Ramsay's new palace? Surely something, anything, was off the rails, ready to trigger a legendary Ramsay rage?
Then this email arrived.
The AC isn't working yet at either the restaurant or the bar. So the polished nickel wasn't the only shiny precious thing in the space last night. Gordon Ramsay is threatening to shut the restaurant down if they can't get the AC on.Totally unverified, of course. And yet intensely pleasurable all the same. Those with RESYs tonight: dress light.
