Michelin '07 Lands: Del Posto Gets Two, ADNY Goose-Egged

This morning, Michelin announced the selections for its 2007 guide book for NY (which drops tomorrow). By the numbers: three restaurants received the book's top honor of three stars; four more received two stars; and 32 restaurants received a respectable one star. (For the sake of comparison, in 2006 these totals were, respectively, 4, 4, and 31.) A total of 526 food establishments were selected for inclusion in the book.

Though there is a small handful of venues newly starred this year, several venues received serious demotions. Alain Ducasse was dropped from three stars to zero (though this is ostensibly in anticipation of his venue closing at the end of the year). Also stripped of stars: BLT Fish, Danube, JoJo, Lo Scalco, March, Nobu, and Scalini Fidelli.

Ahead is the full list of 2007 Michelin-starred restaurants.
