'Twould be churlish to let the day pass and not tip our hat to the redesigned website for New York magazine that debuted today, particularly as regards its restaurant section, of which we are frequent visitors. Were the new design a restaurant, it would have to be Falai—a white, airy—dare we say playful?—space where one least expects it.
The essential content is unchanged, save for the addition of a blog-like newsfeed down the right column and a few other grace notes, like a box of restaurant closings. (A toe, of sorts, dipped into the blogosphere. Come on in; the water's sparkling.) But overall, everything is significantly more accessible than before—assuming your monitor is nice and wide. Buzz: New Black.
