Some very exciting news direct from a fine correspondent:
The plywood came off of what I think is Morimoto's new place on 10th Ave yesterday, right across the street from Del Posto. The interior still looks unfinished, but the exterior is pretty dramatic...a low-slung arch cut into a dark stained wooden facade. There's some orange, um, drapes with some Japanese characters printed on them under the arch that look like remainders from The Gates. Sorry, no pic...it was dark and my cameraphone wasn't up to the low-light task.
It's go time, good cameraphone users. First one to get us pics wins!
