Hue Out

Page Six reports that fashionista Vietnamese restaurant Hue is closing, victim of a landlord dispute. The place—the lone West Village outpost of East Village Italian king Frank Prisinzano, done in conjunction with clubland vet Karim Amatullah—lured celebs a-plenty, leading to last year's brilliant Sunday Styles takedown of celebrity restauranting. Concerning the article, then-Gawker editor Choire Sicha noted, "If Gawker had a required reading syllabus, it would consist entirely of this article." Worth a re-read this morning, if only to remember Hue the way it was.
