I just called Typhoon Restaurant & Bar at 22 E. 54th St. today (it was better known as Typhoon Brewery during the microbrew craze) and they told me they were closing on Friday, August 5th. Said the space would reopen after remodeling in October 2005 "with new name and a new cuisine".So you can cross Thai Brewery off your list of fusion ideas to try.
