We've received the first bits of information on Sascha, a behemoth of a venue in the works on Gansevoort Street in the so-over-it-is-actually-over Meatpacking District.

People, we are going to say this once and only once: Run.

McNally alum Sascha Lyon will be opening not one but three distinct venues under one extremely ambitious and delusional roof. Sascha, the eponymously named flagship, will be actually be Sascha Bakery, The Bar Room at Gansevoort Street, and Upstairs at Sascha. While it is not at all surprising that the former chef de cuisine of Pastis would aim so stratospherically high, this nonetheless has all the makings of a egomaniacal disaster.

Here are the details lifted directly from the Workhouse Publicity official release:

Sascha Bakery...opens early in the morning serving warm sticky buns, beignets, buttered rolls, egg sandwiches and fine coffee and teas. By mid-morning the bakery begins to fill with decadent layer cakes, thick pies and ice cream sundaes transforming the sweet shop into a Mecca for satisfying sweet tooth
