Food Section Buzzwrap: Le Jelly Donut Est Arrivé

1) FloFab reminds that one of our favorite winter treats, the insane doughnuts at the Lower East Side's Doughnut Plant (Grand at Essex) are back up for grabs. "They are superb," she writes. And indeed they are. [NYTimes, Curbed]
2) The Cuozz reminisces about the fabulous meals of holidays past: " My friends and I have yet to recover from the total system failure at the old Judson Grill one December, when overbooking brought the house to a standstill." His advice for December dining out: avoid the Meatpacking District in its entirety, and for new tastes, try Thor or Country. Strong also offers up a holiday dining guide noting special events, like the 1930's-themed New Year's Eve party at Employees Only. [NYPost; StrongBuzz]
3) Did Corner Bistro license its name to Stouffer's? Upon investigation, um, no. [New York]
4) One more list, for people who like these things: Patronite & Raisfeld cobble together a list of four restaurants with fireplaces. It must be asked: sure, Per Se has a fireplace, but it's set against the wall of windows and doesn't exactly inspire cozying up, does it? [New York]
