1) Celebuchef Gordon Ramsay, respected in London before his bizarre Fox TV reality show failed to turn "shut it down" into a bona fide cultural catchphrase, is coming to New York. Following summertime rumors, Strong reports that Ramsay plans to open his first official U.S. restaurant at the Rihga Royal Hotel, reopening in Fall 2006 as The London NYC.
