As we prepare for the onslaught of new fall restaurant openings, now is as good a time as any to take a look at some of the spaces that, for whatever reason, seem unable to foster successful new projects. These are spaces that, despite the best intentions of the owners, house restaurants that close quickly, that rifle through several concepts in a short period of time, or that attract nothing but bad luck.
