Chef David Waltuck is serving an off-menu duck burger at the newly minted élan. It costs $20 and is available as a verbal special both at the bar and in the dining room. The addition reiterates the former Chanterelle chef's move toward a more casual restaurant, but he hasn't strayed too far from his roots: the burger incorporates foie gras in the patty and comes topped with bacon mayonnaise and a fig and caramelized onion chutney. It is of course served on brioche. [Twitter]
