More than six months after having been devastated by Hurricane Sandy, Rockaway Beach restaurant Thai Rock is starting to show signs of life. Back in February, owner Robert Kaskel anticipated being able to get the undamaged back deck open by mid-May, and that's exactly what's about to happen. On May 20, the outdoor deck will be open for business, with a Bruce Springsteen tribute band slated to take the stage on May 25 at 8 p.m. in the first live performance at the restaurant since Sandy hit.
