For weeks, there have been rumors about Red Farm's possible expansion to the Upper West Side. Now, West Side Rag notices that the Red Farm team is applying for a liquor license at 2170-2178 Broadway.
The building has several possible restaurant spaces, including ones that currently house Fatty Crab, Serafina, and Geisha. Reps for the last two restaurants say that they're not leaving. Eater has heard rumors about Red Farm taking over the Fatty Crab space, but there's no word yet on whether that's the exact space, or if Joe Ng and Ed Schoenfeld are moving into another part of the building. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
