Smorgasburg, the foodie sidekick to the Brooklyn Flea, is entering its final four weeks outdoors at the Williamsburg waterfront, and on November 19, the food fest will move to a heated tent outside of One Hanson in Fort Greene. But until then there are some new vendors on the roster, including:
Noshi: gravlax or other fish served over homemade Danish-style rye bread (so trendy!)After the Smorg heads over to One Hanson, they'll launch a collaboration with the Brooklyn Brewery called SmorgasBrewery. Every Sunday starting December 4, five Flea food vendors will set up inside Brewery's Tasting Room. For now, get that artisanal lard while you still can.
Brooklyn Cured: sausage stuffing and packaged sausage
Charlito's Cocina: selling artisanal lard
Yummo Scrummo: seafood/fish-based sandwiches and noodles
Schnitz: Israeli-style schnitzel:
Noodle Lane: dan dan noodles
Vegan Bodega: vegan treats from a vegan bodega that is about to open on the LES
Regal Vegan: savory vegan fare
Short Order Eggs: a new egg-centric project from a Calexico operations manager (at the Sunday Flea only)
