Customers that want to pay their final respects to the first incarnation of Long Island City diner M. Wells now get a few more chances to do so: the restaurant will be open Fridays and Saturdays this month for a series of "farewell dinners." Previously, they were only open for dinner Tuesday-Thursday. These meals will each have a theme, with the first one being "Our Trip to the Fulton Fish Market." Co-owner Sarah Obraitis tells Sam Sifton that they are "focused on creating a better future and a dope restaurant."
