1) Upper West Side: Construction is continuing at Michael Psilaki's new venture Fish Tag. Designer Jerry Caldari says they are making the most of the long narrow space. The area will include a large bar for dining as well as a long chef's style table where appetizers can be prepared in front of the guests. They hope to be open in two to three weeks. 5) Upper West Side: ZagatBuzz also reports that Sojourn owner, Stanton Du Toit will be opening a new restaurant, Tolani, which will serve "global comfort food" that is intended to be shared.[PLYWOOD]
6) Park Slope: Brooklyn Paper has news of more openings in Park Slope. South Brooklyn Pizza will be opening up another location on 4th Ave while 7th Ave will be getting a new bakery called King of Cupcakes. [PLYWOOD]
