2) Chelsea: A tipster sends in a shot of the current state of the former Ate Ave space on 8th Ave and 19th. It's going to be a restaurant called Alpha Asian Cuisine. The sign is pretty epic. [PLYWOOD]
3) Midtown: Another tipster reveals that Heartland Brewery is taking over the restaurant space where 41st St. intersects with Port Authority. The signage is located right within the entrance to the bus station. A perfect spot for a pre or post bowling beer? [PLYWOOD]
4) Cobble Hill: Brownstoner reports that a new restaurant called Breuckelen will open soon in the Cafe on Clinton space at 268 Clinton Street: "...the new spot will be a locavore "field to fork" experience. According to the owner, the menu will most likely have a Roman's-esque three-course approach (apps, small pastas, mains) and include ingredients from the garden that will soon be planted out back and on the roof of the one-story building. 5) FiDi: Five Guys' seventh location will open in a 2,200 square foot space at 212 Fulton Street, between Nassau and Dutch, downtown. The sixth location, on West 34th Street, opens this summer. [PLYWOOD]
