Turf Wars

The Times gets on the street cart/truck turf war beat today, noting something many are already aware of—it's really a class war. It's been chronicled to death on the blogs, but NYT does have a good summary of the tensions between the high end trucks, their immigrant competitors, and the brick and mortar shops, while touching upon the problems with black market licenses.
