Lower East Side: Some opening report news from a tipster: Sasha Petraske's newest venture White Star is indeed certified open and it looks as though he's already planning on making it bigger: "Place is very bare bones right now. Still 3-room railroad style like KingSize was. Absinthe was good, made my tongue numb. Sasha's already broken into the space next door (south, not the Clairvoyant space) and is building out in there too." Planning out the growth of his barely two-day-old bar, or is he cooking up another connected venture? A call to the bar confirms they'll be open tonight at 7 p.m.
