We first heard back in February that Bar Carrera owner Frederick Twomey was expanding his East Village wine bar into the space next door when he applied and was approved for a liquor license. It looks like the expansion is complete. Jeremiah Moss discovered the news when he tried to get a soda at the Atlantic City deli and realized that, while the signage was still in tact, the deli (and once a great place for all kinds of dirty and legit magazines) is now a schmancy wine spot.
