1) East Village: Although not “officially” opening until Monday the 31st, reports that ramen chain Ippudo soft-opened this week on Monday came from Lady Strongbuzz among others. Her early review: “While slurping and spooning, I jotted down this phrase on my note pad: “perversely porky.” Yes, this broth is so rich, and so fully embraces pork’s oinky flavor it’s almost perverse. You could also call it liquid pig.” Status: Certified Soft Open, official opening Monday. 65 Fourth Avenue; 212-388-0088. [Strongbuzz]

2) Lower East Side: TONY reported on the opening of Noodle Bar on the Lower East Side this week, describing it as a: “Lower East Side "Asian bistro," a sister spot to the West Village restaurant of the same name, bears no relation to the Momofuku chain. Rather, owners Nicky Dawda and Connie Yu will offer fare like the Western-inspired tom yum bouillabaisse.” Status: Unknown. No answer to calls. 172 Orchard Street; 212-228-9833. [TONY]

Many, many, more openings after the jump>>

3) East Village: Page Six revealed details of Bowery Wine Co., a new East Village wine bar involving action star Bruce Willis on Monday: "'It's upscale and loungy,' says owner Chris Sileo, formerly beverage director at The Plaza. 'We'll have high-end, light fare that will include paninis, salads and desserts.' Willis and his pals, 'Sopranos' regulars Vincent Curatola and John Ventimiglia, already christened the place at a private party last week." The Post reports it as opening this weekend. Status: Not open, management says they 'hope' to open Monday. 13 E. 1st Street; (212) 614-0800. [NYP]

4) West Village: Direct from CrazyDiazLand, comes word of a new restaurant called Thunder Jackson’s opening in the old Wok ‘n’ Roll space. Abbe’s early review: “Ah so i went for dinner the other night. and i gotta say: i totally love it. i tried the BBQ jalapeño wings, the seared ahi tuna, the escargot, the porterhouse, and the burger. and they were all SLAMMIN i am not even kidding. even the fries were great.” Entertaining as always. Status: No phone listed, but signs point to open. 169 Bleecker Street; no phone listed. [PX This]

5) Chelsea: The latest in gimmicky eateries is baked-potato bar, Totally Baked, reported open this week by TONY, with these details: "Lowbrow stuffings include Buffalo chicken, and a $55 truffle potato (that’s truffle butter, oil, salt and freshly shaved truffles).” Some Flickr plywood also surfaced earlier this week. Status: Not Open. Monday at 11am. 8 W 18th Street; 646-336-6118 [TONY]

6) East Village: On Tuesday Imbible reported on the opening of Berry Bistro, in the old Twisted Burger space, confirming open status via walk-by. A Yelp user chimed in with a suspiciously shilly-sounding first review: “I had the most amazing pasta--penne with cauliflower and roasted pine nuts and currants in a light garlic-butter sauce! Status: Phone line is messed up, but signs point to open. 430 E. 14th Street; 646-595-4244. [Imbible]

7) Red Hook: Gothamist has the word on a stealthy Red Hook opening this week of tapas bar and grocer, Reds Produce. [Gothamist]

8) Sunset Park: TONY has it that a new brick oven pizza joint, Toby's Public House has opened in Sunset Park this week: “Located just past the Prospect Expwy, comes courtesy of Christine Iu, also the owner of KitchenBar. Pies range from basic to haute, such as the tartufata topped with black-truffle cream sauce, ricotta, house-baked ham and black-truffle oil.” Status: Certified Open. 686 Sixth Avenue, Sunset Park; 718-788-1186. [TONY]
