WEST VILLAGE—A correspondent writes in to let us in on some distressing news regarding neighborhood spot, Flor's Kitchen: "Venezuelan restaurant Flor's Kitchen in the West Village is shuttering very very soon. Ate there yesterday and the server said problems with the landlord have forced them to vacate."

A call to the restaurant confirms: "Unfortunately this is true. The matter has been resolved and we're closing Sunday." Flor's, which already closed its East Village location awhile back, has no plans at the moment for relocating but will post any forthcoming news on their website. [Eater Inbox]
