Yesterday, Gawker made quite the ripple on the blogs when it posted a short, blurry video of a "secret bar" on the LES housed in a former "vaudeville theater". Today said video was taken down. Scandal a brewin'? Word is that the bar/recording studio/"private laboratory and consortium developing musical prototypes", which actually has a photo-heavy website, got upset about the unveiling of their secret lair and took it up with the band who brought in the videographer. That party, who wants to be able to play there in the future, asked for the post to be taken down. Unless someone breaks the location of the place (anyone?), we'll have to settle for the website's ample photo gallery. [Eater Wire]
