Passengers seated on the right side of the aircraft will note we're just now passing over Westville East, the sequel to the hugely popular West Village diner of the same name. On the East side, chef Jay Strauss -- in his second attempt to bring Westville to the East Village -- is doing that thing he does at the original, serving brand name turkery burgers, hot dogs and such. With more seats here than at the original, the East Village set wins; and Strauss may have a micro-chain in the making.
