A new restaurant and market combo is getting ready to open in the Union Square area. Union Fare, due next month, will occupy the spaces 5 and 7 East 17th Street. Details are being kept under wraps, but the property owner, William Kim is one of the partners in the project which will have a grab and go section with prepared foods, in addition to a full restaurant. "It will be open seven days a week and there will be a lot of stations serving different food, mostly American,'' says a rep for Union Fare, which is already decked out with stone floors, blonde wood and subway tiles.
