This is a *huge* week for New York City restaurant openings. Salvation Burger is slated to make its debut on Wednesday. Mr. Donahue's is launching on Thursday. And La Sirena, the sprawling new Chelsea Italian restaurant from Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich, is on track for an opening within the next few days. Per the Robs, the menu of Italian fare from Josh Laurano will have traditional antipasti, primi, and secondi, plus nightly specials. Buffalo sweetbreads might make an appearance on Tuesday nights, and the pasta section will include ravioli filled with pancetta, onions, and pecorino.
