Tomorrow, the wildly popular Javelina will boldly go where no Union Square Tex-Mex restaurant that opened this year has gone before: It will launch lunch. Service will be from 11:30 a.m. to 4p.m, Monday through Friday. Brunch service is expected to launch next month. The menu features many favorites from the dinner menu, including queso (obviously), tamales and fajitas that Eater critic Robert Sietsema so enjoyed. There are also a selection of hamburgers priced at $14 and combination plates featuring tacos, chalupas, and rice and beans, ranging from $14 to $17. The bar will also be open, should you wish to indulge in a three avocado margarita lunch.
