Later this year, Michael Stillman will open a Greenwich Village spinoff of the Quality Eats/Quality Italian restaurants called Quality Eats. The chef of this new restaurant in the old Whitehall space will be none other than Ryan Bartlow, who previously worked as the head of the kitchen at Frankie's 570 and the culinary director for of Frankies 457. Before his years working with The Franks, Bartlow also spent time in the kitchens of Tailor and Alinea. Chef Craig Koketsu is also a partner in this new restaurant.
The menu will focus on steaks and other grilled meat dishes, but this will be a more casual affair than Quality Meats. Reunion Goods and Services, the company that helped create the look of The Happiest Hour, is designing the space. If everything goes according to plan, Quality Eats should open next month.
