The quirky East Village mainstay Yaffa Cafe is closing for three months for renovations, after the DOH forced it to shutter late last week. Sadly, when it reopens it likely will no longer have its backyard patio, since the city recently handed down a vacate order. Additionally, the restaurant's iconic mural outside is currently covered up by a hanging Google ad, but Yaffa promises that it too will return. [EV Grieve]
