Corvo Bianco, the year-old Upper West Side Italian restaurant originally opened by restaurateur Luis Gonzalez and chef Elizabeth Falkner, is currently closed. A sign in the window says it's closed for "maintenence," but word on the street is that Gonzalez is currently in negotiations to sign on a big-name chef to reopen with a new concept. Falkner, who departed the Boerum Hill pizza spot Krescendo to open Corvo Bianco, also left Corvo Bianco back in February. She was replaced by Chris Wayman, a vet of Scarpetta and Oceana. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
