Landry's Select Club, the company that operates a number of restaurant chains, including Morton's Steakhouse, Bubba Gump, Vic & Anthony's, and McCormick & Schmick's, is shuttering not one but two of its NYC operations. The company sends word that both the Midtown McCormick & Schmicks and the Gramercy Vic & Anthony's, each the only outpost of that particular chain in the city, have now closed for good. The town, it seems, just wasn't big enough for all four iterations of a Landry's steakhouse or seafood restaurant. Luckily for those who care about such things, there's still a Bubba Gump in Times Square, and two Morton's Steakhouses in Midtown and the Financial District.
