Greenwich Village: After multiple neighbor reports that MacDougal Street's Ama had shuttered, and after performing half a dozen spot checks to the place, we erroneously reported that the four year-old restaurant had closed. This morning owner Turibio Girardi reports the happy news that he closed the restaurant for three weeks for a personal issue and he plans to reopen in a few days. Our apologies and best of luck to Turibio.
